Dad Downstairs is a TV drama com, based on a family with children, divided by divorce, each parent in their own duplex, but still living in the same house! Every market worldwide has its own cast, crew, and script!

Handcraft Boats
Handcraft Boats earns income from the sale and charter of boats worldwide, to help fund the projects of Help Us Save Lives and Handcraft Film. These include TV shows, documentaries, and feature films that help save lives and reshape the world. We do inventory some boats, but primarily rely on commissions earned from boat owners, brokers, and charter companies worldwide to fund these important projects.

"Be The Light" Trailer
"Be The Light" is a docu-drama trailer by Handcraft Film about love, light, and purpose in our lives and how we need to be better parents and partners to our children. This is my favorite video and song I have ever created. As a father of six, I shared what little I may have learned along the way. It is also our corporate video about the projects we produce to help save lives and make this a better world for all.
"I'm Just One Man" Trailer
"I'm Just One Man" is a docu-drama trailer about the men who help shape this world. When finished, the full-length video will include other men who have also done their part to make this a better world, complete with their photo or video, name, and a short message about how they have enriched our world in some way.
"I'm Just One Woman" Trailer
"I'm Just One Woman," the partner video to our doc trailer, "I'm Just One Man," and both feature remarkable women AND men who help change the world. "I'm Just One Woman" is a docu-drama is a revised version that adapts the song, "Women of the World Rise". When finished, the full-length film will include other women who have also done their part to make this a better world in some way.
"Children of This World"
"Children of This World" is a docu-drama trailer for our Help Us Save Lives TV show to keep children safe worldwide. They face threats from wars in Gaza, Ukraine, the West Bank, Syria, Sudan, and many other countries. Our doc trailer shows their vulnerability and how we can and must take steps to keep them safe.

Worldwide, someone dies every 45 seconds by suicide! Our five-minute video outlines the risk of suicide and depression. "Suicide: Symptoms, Safeguards and Solutions" delves into the critical topic of suicide, aiming to raise awareness and provide support. Learn to recognize the warning signs and symptoms, understand the safeguards that can be implemented to prevent them, and explore effective solutions for those struggling. Senior Suicide Awareness Trailer
"Whispers of Love Lost" is a docu-drama trailer about seniors at risk of suicide and severe depression in care homes and mental hospitals. Seniors are the highest-risk group for suicide in the world. Our doc trailer explores those risks and gives insight into the minds of seniors who are living their lives in care homes and mental institutions. The reality is all marriages end in either death or divorce (then death), so no one lives 'happily ever after," and seniors grapple with that fact more than most. Some never overcome the drama and trauma they endure with either. Many outlive their savings, spouse or friends, and many choose to simply end their lives, especially if their quality of life and health suffer.

Dad Downstairs is a new TV show that features a divorced couple living in the same house! Every episode in every city will explore teenage issues like eating disorders, skipping school, dealing with bullying, suicide, deciding on drugs, alcohol, sexual boundaries, and identity. Those are just the teens! Imagine being a suddenly single parent, trying to navigate the sudden dating scene, only to have your EX watching (and listening) to your every move, from the duplexes where you both live! Most TV shows are created to make money! Few can change humanity like "Dad Downstairs." Each EP in every market decides the cast, crew, AND script, with the same theme; to portray the love of two divorced parents for their children, with the backdrop of the drama and trauma the cast finds itself in. When family ideals and opinions collide, this creates friction, uncertainty, and conflict; those "real-life situations" can create compelling episodes.
